Wayne Girdlestone RHPC, MCS, ART Provider has been dealing with sports injuries since 1980 when he was an Army Commando Physical Training Instructor. In 1995 Wayne was employed by the Great Britain Athletics Team and travelled with them to numerous events around the world, the highlight being the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In 1996 Wayne set up his own clinic treating a varied clientele, from school aged athletes wanting to be the best they can be, to high level athletes, to seniors 90 yrs+ who still wishes to fish, shoot and move around pain free. With medical research moving so quickly it is important to keep updated and therefore Wayne schedules into his workload regular seminars and workshops in the UK, USA and Europe. Wayne is also lecturer in sports injuries and bodywork techniques.
His knowledge allows us greater insight into a riders characteristics – before we even think about the bike – and having this in house expertise is a real bonus, particularly if you are having a bike fit.
Physiotherapy sessions can be booked with Wayne at a cost of £75.00 for the initial 1 hour consultation, with 40 minute follow up appointments at £50.00
