Existing clients  have described our take on “retail” as quite refreshing. With all the variables when it comes to buying bikes and kit – which brand, size, colour or style – we think buying the right item “there and then” and at a good price is not as easy as it sounds. If you are not entirely sure what suits you best then it can be very difficult.

“Better to wait a few days for exactly the right product at an internet beating price.”

At GC we have a different approach to selling bikes, frames, components and accessories. Very rarely do we keep stock and we do not have staff – Rich and Wayne are the staff. We listen to our clients – some have exact requirements and some would like a helping hand. Only when we understand their wishes do we interrogate the marketplace and provide a price or choice of options. Remember, we do not hold stock – we just track product availability continuously – and therefore we are not tied to any specific brands so we can remain totally impartial.

We have very carefully selected our key brands, particularly when it comes to framesets and complete bikes where we believe we have brands that provide the very best in their given price range.

Of course, we are equally capable of accessing the best of the marketplace. Once we have sourced the right products for you, we can make them available for collection at the studio or courier them to your preferred address.

So if you are looking to buy a bike or a frameset, a saddle or a pair of wheels, give us a call and see how we can help with all of your cycling needs.

This is a great high end bike – a made to measure carbon frame from our friends at Guru Cycles, equipped with a Shimano Dura Ace group set, Reynolds Attack wheels and a Ritchey carbon finishing kit. It comes with customer selected colours and artwork together with a lifetime warranty on the frame. A seriously light bike which being the product of one of our bike fits – fits the rider like a glove. This bike won’t date like the mainstream alternatives.

A previous customer called to discuss a wheel upgrade. We talked through the options and settled on a pair of Zipp 3o’s – which were supplied 7% cheaper than the best price available on the internet at the time. Low overheads means low prices while retaining the service!

A new to cycling customer wanted a proven road bike for summer commuting that is equally as happy in the winter with a full mud guard set up. We provided a Kinesis Racelight T2 for 15% below the RRP and included a £60 fit allowance.
